OK, if I was a cruel person I'd take this little chihuahua to the pound, but he wouldn't pass their temperament test and would be killed. So, I'm gonna try here first. My kids have named him Bullet. My daughter found him abandoned and terrified in the laundrymat of our apartments. He was in a crate with no water and a bowl of chicken bones and cheerios. He also had a toy collar like the ones you get with a stuffed animal around his neck. It was so tight that it had cut into him and he had wounds on his neck from it. Best I can guess is that he is around 2yrs old (we found him a yr ago and he still had baby teeth). When we firs brought him in he was terrified and wouldn't come near anyone, but now he wants to be in someones lap all the time. He is a cuddler and loves attention. He is a kisser and will lick your face off if ya like that sort of thing. I have tried, but we cannot keep him. Our house is too busy for this nervous little boy. Someone has been very mean to this little guy and he is very skittish especially around new people or when he is asleep. For the most part he is used to us now, but he will attack when we leave the house and bite our pant legs. Don't really know why he does that. If you startle him when he's asleep he will come up growling and snapping but will cower and curl into a rolly-polly ball at your feet after he realizes what he's done.He is barely house trained, but if someone were able to be diligent he'd probably do ok (kids don't really take the time for him to do his business when they take him out). I really don't want to take him to the pound, but I can't have my children or our guests getting bit by this little guy who doesn't know any better. If anyone knows of a chihuahua rescue or would like to have him please contact me. We did get him shots and neutered (have records), and will send his crate and toys with whoever. Please help me keep him out of the pound.
