Let's go back to Spring 2021 when senator Casey Murdock authored a bill that would shut down Oklahoma's expanding public land program sponsored by Oklahoma sportsmen and women using their own tax dollars through the sale of hunting and fishing licenses.

Oklahoma has had a flagship public land expansion program which has added hundreds of thousands of acres to our wildlife management areas since the late 1980s. Senator Casey Murdock tried to end that legacy with this bill.

Thankfully we were able to defeat this bill.
But Senator Casey Murdock has come back with more bad bills, I will share more soon:

This page is not to smear Senator Casey Murdock personally but simply to bring sportsman and women who are in opposition together to discuss removing his policies from our legislature.
It is also to expose and condemn his history in authoring bills both successful and not which have undermined many aspects of Oklahoma's wildlife management in relation to hunting, fishing, and land access.

Oklahoma has long valued its wildlife as a valuable resource for harvest and enjoyment. The state has enjoyed biologically sound wildlife management under the direction of our Wildlife commission and Department of Wildlife. Oklahoma regards hunting and fishing as preferred methods for wildlife control. We value both private land ownership and public access. Oklahoma's wildlife belong to the people of the state of Oklahoma in public trust.
