Our sister Girl Scouts in Dryden sold the most cookies in our council this year!! Way to go, ladies! Groton and Dryden troops are all part of the same Service Unit and you’ll often see both towns taking part in the same activities.

Groton Cadettes from Troops 40011 and 60828 spent the afternoon with Andy Garrett from Garrett Building & Design completing their Woodworking Badge. Thank you so much for spending the afternoon with them!

Groton Junior Troop 40037 spent the day learning important outdoor skills: first aid, knot tying, fire building, leave no trace, nature identification, and orienting. These girls will be tired tonight!!

Groton Junior Girl Scout Troop 40037 is currently working toward earning the Bronze Award. As part of their project, the girls are interested in learning more about wildlife and animal education.

They are looking for individuals or organizations who could help educate them on topics such as:
• Ticks
• Rabies
• Bat houses
• The importance of wildlife
• Spaying and neutering

Their goal is to share what they learn with the community at a later date.
