In the spring of 2016 Eli shared this idea with his family. He planned one day to be able to afford this state-of-the-art facility and training with the purpose of providing much needed resources not only for football but for every athlete at Tullahoma High School. Eli believed exposure to these opportunities along with hard work and determination gave every athlete the ability to develop to their
fullest potential. He believed if every athlete could reach their full potential then their teams would be unparalleled. On Saturday, April 30, 2016 Eli was returning home from his biweekly football conditioning and training in Franklin, Tennessee. Less than 5 miles from home Eli fell asleep. He was killed on impact as he crossed the centerline hitting head-on an oncoming truck. Through our unimaginable loss of Eli here on earth our family draws our strength from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are comforted knowing Eli had a faith in and drew his strength from Jesus Christ. Less than one month from his 18th birthday. He was a Tullahoma High School Senior known for his positive encouraging attitude and his infectious smile. Eli was an honor student, volunteer, brother, boyfriend, friend to everyone, lover of everything out doors, an artist, and a THS Quarterback. From the seventh grade to his death Eli dedicated his time to developing his mind and body to be the most competitive athlete he could possibly be. Signing to play football at Mississippi College was a dream come true for Eli and created even more passion and determination for him to continue his unwavering work ethic. Enabling him to give his best effort at the college level.
