Huge shoutout to Brianna Reed, one of our amazing PTO moms! She went above and beyond by making the cutest clipboards and delivering Sonic drinks for all the Hickerson staff to kick off Day 1 of Staff Appreciation Week. We are so grateful for you and the love you show our teachers and staff!

Staff appreciation week is coming up May 5th-9th and our PTO is going to be stocking the teachers lounge with school supplies they might need for their classrooms! If you would like to donate items to help with this, please leave a comment below indicating what you would like to donate. Items can be dropped off anytime between now and May 9th in the front office or sent in with your student!

Help your grade win the ultimate Change War while raising funds for Hickerson! Every penny counts, but watch out—silver coins can sabotage other teams. Drop your pennies and bills in your grade’s jar and use nickels, dimes, and quarters to bring down the competition. The grade with the most points at the end gets extra recess with popcorn and cotton candy! The change war will be setup in the hallway with buckets for each grade level so everyone can "vote" for a winner. Let the battle begin!

Bring your spare change to the Spring Fling tonight and support a good cause! Our change war will be going for one more week and you can "vote" for a winning grade tonight. Also, PTO will be selling cotton candy for $3, popcorn for $1, and soda for $1 - cash only. Thanks or supporting out school!
