TODAY’S VIDEO IS ABOUT THE HOUSE

“Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped.”
—2 Samuel 12:20

David was carrying grief, disappointment, and unanswered questions—but he knew he needed to get to the house of the Lord.

Sometimes we become so focused on the pressure of delivering a new message, what we need to do, or where we’re going after church that we miss the purpose of the house.

David wasn’t looking for another message. He was looking for an encounter.

The house of God is where we gather to worship, refocus our hearts, and encounter His presence.

Don’t become so distracted by everything surrounding the house that you miss the One waiting for you inside it.

“When David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead… Then David arose from the earth, washed, anointed himself, changed his clothes, and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped.”
2 Samuel 12:19–20

David didn’t worship because everything worked out the way he wanted. He worshiped while his heart was broken.

He got up from the ground.
He washed his face.
He changed his clothes.
He entered God’s house.
And he worshiped.

Sometimes faith looks like praising God for the victory. Other times, faith looks like getting back up after the loss and worshiping God through the pain.

What happened may have broken your heart, but it does not have to destroy your faith.

Get up. Wash your face. Change your clothes. Go into the house of the Lord—and worship.

God is still worthy, even when life hurts.

Next week starts the month of September which means we’re getting closer and closer to our Sukkot Celebration!! We are so excited! We have such awesome things planned and we can’t wait to see how God makes a way for each one of us! We’re preparing a way for you Lord to have your way! Let this be a time of reflection, anointing, healing, and celebration of the true freedom and protection we have thru our Father!

KARMA IS NOT COMING AFTER YOU.

Psalm 23 says:

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.”

That word “follow” carries the picture of PURSUIT.

Think about that today.

You don't have karma chasing you down.

GOODNESS AND MERCY ARE PURSUING YOU.

God's goodness is pursuing you.
His mercy is pursuing you.
His grace is reminding you who you are.

Stop living like your past is chasing you.

You are His.
You are loved.
You are forgiven.
You are BLESSED!

Turn around and recognize what's been following you all along:

GOODNESS AND MERCY.

REMOVE THE CLOTHES OF CONDEMNATION

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
—Romans 8:1

The Greek word for condemnation is katakrima. It speaks of a guilty verdict and the penalty that follows.

But if you are in Christ, condemnation is no longer your identity or your sentence.

You don’t serve condemnation.
You don’t belong to your past.
You are the beloved of God.

So this week, rip off those old clothes of guilt, shame, and condemnation—and put on the truth of who you are in Christ.

You are forgiven.
You are chosen.
You are loved.
You are free.

“Now is the time to wake up from sleep, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”
—Romans 13:11

Now is the time.

Not tomorrow.
Not when life becomes easier.
Not when everything finally falls into place.

Now is the time to wake up—to shake off spiritual complacency, return to the presence of God, and live with urgency.

The hour is too late for sleeping faith. The world needs believers who are awake, alert, and fully surrendered to Jesus.

Wake up.
Draw near.
Walk in the light.
Do what God has called you to do.

Now is the time.

THE MONTH OF AWAKENING

The Hebrew letters of Elul are traditionally connected to the phrase:

“I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine.”
—Song of Solomon 6:3

Elul is a season of drawing near to God—a period of prayer, repentance, and honest self-examination in the presence of the Lord.

Throughout the month, the shofar is sounded daily. Its sound is a spiritual alarm calling us to:

Wake up.
Search our hearts.
Turn away from distractions.
Return to our First Love.
Prepare for the Lord’s appointed times.

This is not merely a time to examine what we have done. It is a time to remember whose we are.

We are His—and He is ours.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart.”
—Psalm 139:23

THE APPOINTED TIMES OF THE LORD

“These are the appointed times of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.”
—Leviticus 23:4

God never called them merely Jewish holidays—He called them His appointed times. These were divine appointments established to reveal His plan and point us toward Jesus.

Jesus has already fulfilled the first four appointed times:

• Passover — Jesus became our Passover Lamb.
• Unleavened Bread — His sinless body was buried.
• Firstfruits — He rose from the dead.
• Pentecost — The Holy Spirit was poured out.

The remaining appointed times—Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles—continue to point toward what is still to come.

“Therefore let us celebrate…”
—1 Corinthians 5:8

We don’t observe these appointed times to earn salvation or place ourselves under the law. We honor them because they reveal Jesus, remind us of God’s faithfulness, and help us understand His prophetic timeline.

Don’t forsake the Lord’s appointed times. Every appointed time tells His story—and every one points to Jesus.
