HACER Tulare We are a community service organization in Tulare, CA that awards scholarships to high school seniors and promotes Hispanic heritage.

The Hispanic Alliance for Culture Education and Recognition (HACER) is a community service organization founded on October 5, 1993 in Tulare, CA. Our purpose is to recognize, promote, and enhance leadership development of the Hispanic community and our youth in Tulare.

TULARE HACER formaliza lazos de Ciudades Hermanas con representantes de Jalostotitlán
La Alianza Hispana para la Cultura, la Educación y el Reconocimiento (HACER), en colaboración con la Ciudad de Tulare, recibió el lunes 6 de julio de 2026 a una delegación de Jalostotitlán, México, culminando en la firma de un acuerdo de ciudades hermanas que llevaba años en desarrollo.
La delegación visitante — encabezada por Judith Macías Ramírez, Presidenta Municipal de Jalostotitlán, junto con su esposo Emmanuel Cervantez y el Director de Turismo, David Rodríguez Hernández — pasó el día recorriendo Tulare y visitando sitios de importancia local, incluyendo centros comerciales, fábricas y operaciones lecheras y agrícolas que reflejan la base económica de la ciudad.
La jornada concluyó con una cena en el Museo Histórico de Tulare, a la que asistieron miembros de la comunidad, funcionarios municipales, la Cámara de Comercio de Tulare y varios residentes de Tulare originarios de Jalostotitlán.
Durante el encuentro, ambas delegaciones intercambiaron obsequios mientras formalizaban su compromiso con el intercambio cultural, la diversidad y el entendimiento global. El acuerdo de ciudades hermanas establece una relación continua entre ambas comunidades, y los organizadores expresaron su esperanza de que fortalezca los lazos mediante futuras colaboraciones culturales, educativas y económicas.

🎒📚 WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, TULARE! 🍎✏️
A new school year means a fresh start, new goals, new friendships, new challenges, and so many opportunities to learn and grow!

Here are a few reminders for the new school year from your friends at TULARE HACER:

✨ Set goals — big or small, give yourself something to work toward.�📅 Get organized — a planner, calendar, or simple to-do list can make a BIG impact.�📚 Ask for help — teachers, counselors, parents, mentors, and friends are there to support you.�💪 Believe in yourself — you don't have to have everything figured out on day one.�😴 Take care of yourself — sleep, eat well, take breaks, and make time for things that make you happy.�🤝 Build your community — surround yourself with people who encourage you, challenge you, and want to see you succeed.�🎓 And remember: YOUR EDUCATION IS AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE.

Este pasado domingo, TULARE HACER finalmente tuvo el honor de recibir a la Presidenta Municipal Judith Macías Ramírez de Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, México, junto con su delegación, en su ciudad hermana de Tulare, CA (una visita que llevaba años en proceso).

Nos reunimos en Bravo Farms de Tulare para disfrutar de una noche llena de conversaciones significativas, tradiciones compartidas, excelente comida y, por supuesto… ¡apoyando a la Selección de México durante su partido de la Copa Mundial! ⚽🇲🇽

Fue un honor compartir esta velada con líderes de ambas comunidades, incluyendo miembros del Concejo Municipal de Tulare, personal de la ciudad, representantes de las juntas escolares locales y miembros de la mesa directiva de TULARE HACER.

Entre los invitados que nos acompañaron estuvieron: Judith Macías Ramírez, Presidenta Municipal de Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, México; su esposo, Emmanuel Cervantes; David Ramírez, Director de Turismo. Miembros del Concejo Municipal de Tulare José Sigala, el Alcalde Patrick Isherwood, Steve Harrell y Dennis Maderos; personal de la ciudad Marc Mondell, Administrador Municipal, y Thomas Gaffery, Administrador Municipal Adjunto; Cathy Maderos, miembro de la mesa directiva de TJUHS; Eloysa Segura Moraza, miembro de la mesa directiva de TCSD; Connie Díaz, miembro de la mesa directiva de COS; además de otros miembros de TULARE HACER y líderes comunitarios.

Desde 2020, HACER y el Concejo Municipal de Tulare han trabajado persistentemente para construir este puente entre Tulare y Jalostotitlán. A través de esta alianza, esperamos continuar creando más oportunidades de intercambio cultural, conexiones estudiantiles, colaboración educativa y vínculos turísticos entre nuestras comunidades.

Gracias a todas las personas que hicieron posible esta visita y a quienes continúan apoyando la visión de unir aún más a nuestras comunidades. ¡Esto es solo el comienzo! 💛

This past Sunday, TULARE HACER finally had the honor of welcoming Presidenta Municipal Judith Macías Ramírez of Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, México, along with her delegation, to their sister-city of Tulare, CA (a visit that has been years in the making)!!

We gathered at Bravo Farms of Tulare for an evening filled with meaningful conversations, shared traditions, great food, and of course… cheering for team México in the World Cup match! ⚽🇲🇽

We were grateful to share this evening with leaders from both communities; including members of the Tulare City Council, City staff, local school board representatives, and TULARE HACER board members. Guests who joined us that day included: Judith Macías Ramírez, Municipal President (Mayor) of Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, Mexico; her husband, Emmanuel Cervantes; David Ramírez, Tourism Director. Tulare City Council Members José Sigala, Mayor Patrick Isherwood, Steve Harrell, and Dennis Maderos; City staff members Marc Mondell, City Manager, and Thomas Gaffery, Assistant City Manager; Cathy Maderos, TJUHS School Board Member; Eloysa Segura Moraza, TCSD School Board Member; Connie Diaz, COS Board Member; and additional TULARE HACER board members and community leaders.

Since 2020, HACER and the Tulare City Council have persistently worked towards creating this bridge between Tulare and Jalostotitlán. Through this partnership, we look forward to growing more opportunities for cultural exchange, student connections, education and tourism our communities.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this visit possible and to everyone who continues to support the vision of bringing our communities closer together. This is only the beginning. 💛

We’re so excited to welcome Presidenta Municipal Judith Macías of Jalostotitlán, Jalisco to Tulare! 🇲🇽🇺🇸
Since 2020, HACER and the Tulare City Council have been working on establishing a sister city relationship. Presidenta Municipal Macías will be joining us for two special days, which will include tours of local businesses and community projects selected to highlight what Tulare has to offer.
Sister city partnerships like this one open doors: cultural exchange programs, student and educator opportunities, small business and tourism connections, and a chance for both communities to learn from one another’s traditions, history, and strengths.
Thank you to everyone who has worked to make this vision a reality. This is just the beginning. 💛

¡Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a la presidenta municipal Judith Macías de Jalostotitlán, Jalisco a Tulare! 🇲🇽🇺🇸

Desde 2020, HACER y el Ayuntamiento de Tulare han estado trabajando para establecer una relación de ciudad hermana. La presidenta municipal Macías se unirá a nosotros durante dos días especiales, que incluirán recorridos por negocios locales y proyectos comunitarios seleccionados para destacar lo que Tulare tiene para ofrecer.

Asociaciones de ciudades hermanas como esta, abrirá más puertas: programas de intercambio cultural, oportunidades para estudiantes y educadores, pequeñas empresas y conexiones turísticas, y una oportunidad para que ambas comunidades aprendan de las tradiciones, la historia y las fortalezas del otro.

Gracias a todos los que han trabajado para hacer realidad esta visión. Esto es solo el comienzo. 💛

What a night! 🇲🇽⚽❤️
Thank you to everyone who joined TULARE HACER at Tulare Tap Yard’s watch party for the México vs South Korea game!

The energy was incredible, the place was packed, and seeing our community come together to celebrate our culture and our shared love of the game made our night truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, purchased raffle tickets, and helped support our scholarship programs and community events.

Congratulations to our raffle winners who took home Team México jerseys, soccer prizes, and more! 🎉

From the sold-out taco truck to the final whistle - it was an amazing night to share with everyone.
