MEET DEONDRE
“To know my sweet angel boy graduated 6th grade & is now officially in junior high, still has me in disbelief. Time surely flies. My dear sweet miracle angel boy, you have progressed so much. To others, it may look like not much, but to me, it’s everything! Every “little step & progress,” is a BIG step forward, for me. No matter how mentally, physically or emotionally challenging it gets, I promise to never give up on you. I will fight for you, until my last breath. I promise to keep advocating for you & always be your biggest/number one advocate. I promise to keep pushing you, keep motivating you & keep encouraging you. I promise to always uplift you, care for you, provide for you, always support you, guide you, lead you, be by your side & always love you to infinity & beyond. There is nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for you. I hope that one day, you can comprehend how intelligent you are. You are not your diagnoses. You are more than your diagnoses. You have accomplished so much in the 12 years you’ve been on this earth & you make me so proud. To know you almost left this world, yet, you fought hard & survived. And to know that after surviving, you were considered to be “a vegetable baby,” yet, proved everyone wrong. This is all proof that you were born a warrior! You have the real strength of a real warrior because once a soldier, always a soldier! Keep showing out baby boy because i know one day, you’ll reach a certain level of independence, that will astonish everyone around you; specialists, family, friends & everyone around you. I have faith that you will. Keep shining bright papa deuce. No one can ever dim your light! *MINI ME STRONG* love, Mom.”
