Tulare Speechconductors Toastmasters Club is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills.

Meeting 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of the month from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ the Tulare Downtown Associations new home, 306 E. King Ave., Tulare CA - Guests are always welcome!

Today we had a Hellacious meeting! Learned about electric cars 🚗, communications styles and discussed the worst Christmas present ever received 🎁, when is too early for Christmas music 🥁and what is the perfect amount to spend on Christmas presents - Did I hear someone say Zero? 🅾️ Our zoom meetings are open to the public and we would love to have you join us!!

At today's meeting we heard John Harmon give a great speech about networking. We heard impromptu speeches with the theme of "firsts" - first car, first job, first speech and first pandemic Thanksgiving. We had 100% attendance by all members and only had a group total of 9 ah's/um's. It was a great meeting. If you are looking to improve your speaking and/or leadership skills, ask me about joining our next zoom meeting. We would love to have you!!

Club President, Terry Sayre, presents winning ribbons to Marcia Lack and Steve Presant at our May 1 meeting. Marcia won Best Speaker, and is incognito with her mustache and large hat as part of her winning speech. Steve was also presented a ribbon for winning Best Table Topics.

On Saturday Jan 20 the Toastmasters Area G offered training to Club Officers and club members. Being part of Toastmasters allows you to receive the training and leadership support you need to run a club, know how to lead meetings, and provide maximum results as a Club Officer. These training events are highly recommended. Below are pictures of the discussion and learning available that day in Fresno.

We had our first meeting at our new location yesterday. Please join us for future meetings at the new home of the Tulare Downtown Association, 306 E. King Ave., Tulare CA. We meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month from 12-1pm. Hope to see you soon!

John Harman, VP of Education, presented Steve Presant and Ed Burckhardt certificates for competing in the Area G-4 Speech Contest. Congratulations to Steve & Ed! You both did a fabulous job representing our club. :)

Leadership Tulare joined our club on October 6th, and tried their hand at table topics. Congratulations to Jennifer, as her dream job of a guitar player won her the title of best table topics. We can't forget to congratulate Jon, as his use of filler words deemed him the winner of the 'duck butt'!

Installation of the new Club Officers, 2 speeches, and a fun Olympic themed Tabletopics was what our meeting was filled with yesterday! Join us for our next meeting on Thursday, August 18th.

Andrew Rivera, our VP of Membership, welcomed our newest member, Area G4 Director Bob Chiurazzi to the club at our meeting yesterday. Congrats to Steve for taking home TWO ribbons, and Rachel for winning best speech.
