💙💚Thank you for registering your player with Porterville NJB for the 2026–2027 season! We’re excited to have everyone back on the court and appreciate you choosing to be part of our league.
🏀WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES!
We are still looking for volunteer coaches for the Rookie/D4 , D2/D1 divisions, with limited player spots available in all (Kinder-8th) divisions.
If you’re interested in coaching, or know someone who would be a great fit, please reach out to us.
Our coaches are an important part of making this league possible, and we appreciate everyone who is willing to give their time to our players!
🏀Now that registration is closed, here’s what you can expect next:
🏀PLAYER EVALUATIONS
October 4th & October 11th at GHHS (enter parking lot by pool)
Players in 3rd–8th grade must attend ONE of the two evaluation dates. Evaluations help our coaches create as even teams as possible.
Kindergarten–2nd grade players do NOT attend evaluations.
🏀COACHES & TEAM DRAFT
Coaches will meet and draft teams on October 18th. Once teams are finalized, coached we’ll begin reaching out with team/practice information.
🏀PRACTICES
Practices are scheduled to begin the first week of November.
🏀FIRST GAMES
Our first games are scheduled for November 22nd.
🏀A few things to remember:
• Everyone makes a team.
• Everyone gets to play.
• No previous basketball experience is required.
• If there are not enough girls registered to form teams in a girls division, girls will be placed on boys teams so they can still participate.
