We're still thinking about how much fun we had at our Bike Rodeo! We had a blast watching the kids learn new skills, practice safety, and have some serious fun on two wheels. An event like this takes a village, and we want to extend a massive THANK YOU to the amazing community partners who made it all possible:
- Tulalip Police & Fire Departments: Thank you for running the safety course and teaching our kids how to stay safe on the roads!
- Tulalip Problem Gambling Program: Thank you for providing all of the helmets to keep our young riders protected!
- ti kupihali: Thank you for generously providing all the delicious food!
- Sacred Riders Motorcycle Club: Thank you for stepping up to handle all the grilling and keeping everyone fed!

Need a Bike Helmet? We've Got You Covered!
Safety doesn't stop just because the rodeo is over. If your child still needs a properly fitted helmet, Community Health is here to help! Stop by and pick one up for your kiddo.

What an incredible time we had at last weekend’s Bike Rodeo! Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun, energetic, and community-filled event.
We were thrilled to give away helmets to help keep our young riders safe, and the excitement was high during our bike raffles. Congratulations to all of the lucky winners! 🎉🚴‍♀️
Events like this are all about building confidence, promoting safety, and bringing our community together, and you all made it truly special.
A big thank you to our volunteers, partners, and families who helped make it happen. We can’t wait to see you at the next one! 💙

Attention Tulalip WIC families! The Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits are here, but there is an important change for 2026.

What are FMNP benefits?
It's an extra $30 (on top of your regular WIC) to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs at participating farmers' markets! Women and children (ages 1 and older) who are certified for WIC are eligible.

Due to very limited funding this year, we are only able to distribute benefits to 13 families. To keep things fair, we will be holding a raffle for the 13 spots!

How to enter the raffle:
* We will be calling every eligible family over the next 2 weeks to see if you want to be added to the drawing.
* If you are already certified on WIC and want to make sure your name is in the hat, give us a call!
* The drawing will take place on July 15th. (Winner's privacy will be strictly protected).

Got questions or want to confirm your entry? Give the Tulalip WIC program a call at 360-716-5625.

Brooke Morrison, Diabetes & Garden Specialist, truly deserves recognition for her amazing support of the Tulalip Early Learning Academy (TELA) Garden Program and the Tulalip Health Clinic's lovely garden. Brooke brings so much enthusiasm, creativity, and heartfelt passion to helping people connect with growing their own food. She generously shares her gardening knowledge and lovingly includes cultural teachings. Her warm and engaging approach has created wonderful, hands-on garden experiences for children and families, making these moments both fun and educational. Additionally, she has helped improve the clinic's garden as a vibrant community space for wellness, learning, and Food as Medicine activities. Brooke's friendly spirit and willingness to collaborate with staff, volunteers, elders, and youth make her an invaluable part of our Diabetes Care & Prevention and Food Sovereignty efforts.

🍼 Growing the Tulalip Health System Family! 👶

We love taking care of our community, but today we took a little time to celebrate one of our own!
Our team came together to throw a baby shower for Merissa Conklin, our wonderful Lead Intake Specialist. Merissa is usually the one welcoming others, so it was an absolute joy to shower her with love, well-wishes, and plenty of tiny baby gear as she prepares for this exciting new chapter.

Please join us in sending Merissa and her growing family a huge congratulations and lots of love!

🎉🎂 A Little Rock ‘n’ Roll Birthday Magic at Stan Jones! 🎂🎉

We had such a fun time celebrating a very special birthday for one of our residents this week at the Stan Jones Retirement Home! 💕 The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of joy as we marked the occasion in style.
And what’s a birthday party without a surprise? 🎶The King himself made an appearance—yes, Elvis!—to help us celebrate the birthday girl. There was music, dancing, and plenty of unforgettable moments that made the day extra special.

A big thank you to our team for making this celebration so meaningful and to Lena for helping capture the fun!
