Learn to See the Chart in the Living Sky with Your Eyes We mystics know the astrology chart as a map of the soul, but if we want to stay grounded it's also important for us to know the chart as a map of the living sky cast for a particular place and time on Earth. Gemini Brett is here to share keys of embodied astronomy that will help you unlock your ability to see the chart in space with your face. You’ll learn to align with the cardinal directions, the astrological angles, the heavenly houses, the zodiac constellations, and the tropical signs. We'll connect just before Sunset and will be blessed by two bright heavenly guides: Jupiter in the Twins and Venus in Gemini. .

Synthesizing Several Systems of Celestial House Division – a Practical Approach of Applied Astrology
Why in the Heavens are there so many systems of house division and which one is right? Gemini Brett is intrigued by too many to answer the latter so instead he'll show you why he uses three different designs (whole, equal, and quadrant) to approach three sides of self (soul, human, and Earthling). Gemini will present the philosophy while correcting some common astronomical mistakes, but most importantly, together we'll apply the practice to live chart examples so you'll have new techniques to take away.

BIO: Gemini Brett’s terrestrial translations of the celestial conversation, expressed through the ancient arts of sacred geometry, musical harmony, embodied astronomy, and number magic activate seasoned sages as much as they initiate students new to the cosmic curriculum. He is a world-renowned astrologer, shamanic starryteller, and inspiring educator best known for reconnecting astrologers with the sacred astronomy of the living sky. Brett is the president of NCGR San Francisco and the founder of the School of Earthstrology. His passion, dedication, and innovation were recently honored by the Organization for Professional Astrology who presented him with the Orion Award for Outstanding Contribution to Astrology.

Venus in our lives and relationships Drawing from layers of Mesopotamian, Greek, and Roman myths of Venus and her many lovers, we will explore the desires, needs, and action urges that constellate when caught in the goddess’s irresistible magnetism and a variety of ways this can play out through Venus aspects natally, and by transit. We will explore her relationships with the beautiful-yet-tragic Adonis, the old shepherd Anchises, and of course her famous relationship with Ares/Mars, as well as earlier stories of the Mesopotamian Innana and her lover Dumuzi. We will examine how these stories come alive in natal charts and through transits and synastry, discovering themes of eros, renewal, loss, attraction, repulsion, and desire that live in every sky and every person. By exploring Her many magical and sacred possessions as expressions of Soul, we will develop a deeper appreciation of the nature of Venus in the natal chart, and what her deepest preoccupations may be. How do each appear in our own lives, and where can our girded loins, our self-regard, our aesthetic sense, our self-care, lead us?
March 14, Saturday, 1 – 4:30 pm MST In-Person only, $25/$30
The Great Goddess: Venus by Day, Night, and Twilight
Following Mary Oliver’s advice to “let the soft animal of your body love what it loves,” in this workshop we will step into the stories and the archetypes directly, to develop a multidimensional perspective of Venus in our lives and relationships. Using the felt sense, imagery, movement, and music, we will develop a multisensory perception of Venus, and of the particular relational dynamics she draws to us through sign and house placement, aspect, dignity, debility, bonification, and maltreatment.
