Today is giving Tuesday, a day where generous people donate to causes they find important.

Please consider making a donation to S.Y.STEM Coalition through our website (systemcoalition.org), where your donations will be tax exempt. We also collect money through Amazon Smile, where Amazon donates money from your regular purchases at no extra cost to you.

S.Y.STEM Coalition's goal is to end poverty through STEM education. We offer experience-based learning in the form of workshops, classroom visits, camps, and community activities.

Our G.I.V.E program provides high school students with career coaching and valuable experience working with a nonprofit. Students who participate in our Junior Shark Tank program receive guidance from industry leaders, and they have the opportunity to win substantial scholarships.

We provide these activities at low cost or no cost to participating students, schools, and families. You can help us keep the program going by donating today.

This year, S.Y.STEM Coalition partnered with a school in Zimbabwe to bring a robotics curriculum to their classroom. The program was so successful, they are now launching a robotics club for the students.

After months of preparation and collaboration, we sent a team to Zimbabwe for about two weeks to realize our vision. Our volunteers made valuable connections with the teachers and students, inspiring a lifelong love of learning in the children.

We are grateful the school welcomed us in and sent along some of their best teachers to make it happen.

We're hoping to continue this program and our other programs throughout the next year. We rely on donations from our community members to keep it all going. This holiday season, we'd be grateful for donations either through our website (system coalition.org) or through Amazon Smile.

We appreciate all community support, either through donations or likes and shares. Help us cheer our students on!

Today is National Non-Profit Day! We are a 501(c)3 who empowers youth in STEM through partnership with industry. Created and run by STEM professionals, S.Y.STEM Coalition makes science and engineering accessible and fun for kids.

With six different programs that range through ages K-12 we have something for just about everyone! If you’d like to donate or become a partner or volunteer head to our website, link in bio!

Today we want to highlight the amazing job of our branch in Los Angeles . Thanks to the Little Tokyo Service Center (.cdc) and the volunteers, they put together a successful STEM Spooktacular this year. Check some of the pictures. 😄

Did you know? The average temperature on the Moon varies from 224 degrees Fahrenheit (106º C), during the day, to -243 degrees Fahrenheit (-152º C) at night.

The reason is that the Moon doesn't have a significant atmosphere to block some of the Sun's rays or to help trap heat at night. 🌕🌙
