Today was a great day working our beer booth raising funds for kids, families and our community at the Historic Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair even with temps around 100 we had a lot of fun! Tomorrow, Sunday is the last day! Met and had fun with many interesting fun loving people! Talked about our Pueblo Optimist Club of Tucson and spread our Optimist International message.

We are selling a lot of cold water along with cold beer!!

We desperately need help with gift wrap on the first 3 days:
December 13, 14 and 15 at Tucson Mall and Park Place. Esther will be at the street fair those days and can't open and close at Tucson Mall as she usually does.
There will only be one person at Park Place those 3 days and no one covering Tucson Mall. This early, 2 people is the least that will work. Gift wrap is open mall hours.

We have started the Optimist gift wrapping at both Park Place and Tucson Malls. If you and/or your members are willing to volunteer, much help is needed for this money making project. Send message and we'll send you the contact to help. Gift wrap times are from 10a to mall closing now through the 24th evening. This Saturday our Pueblo Optimist Club along with help from school Optimist clubs, Mission View and Ochoa will be delivering food boxes and gifts from sponsoring people to deserving families in the S. Tucson area.

Here are some pictures of our organized chaos food box building a couple of weeks ago. We built 150+ boxes. Each family will get 1 set of 3. Very large families will get 2 sets.

Heading out at 0 dark 30 to set up our #2 OREO Aid Station for the El Tour de Tucson bike race. We'll be providing fruit, water & Oreos to the 102 and 63 mile riders along with needed bike repairs. All stay safe out there.

This past early Sunday morning members of our Pueblo Optimist Club along with help from our member Krista and some of her students from Mica Mountain HS and the South Tucson Police Explorers cleaned and removed coins from the 2 fountains at Park Place Mall. The money will help with our Christmas food boxes.
