We are rooting for you Josiah!

There’s something powerful about building real rapport over time—seeing someone not just once, but showing up for themselves again and again as they rebuild. Nothing changes overnight. The process is slow, it’s real, and it takes persistence.

But sometimes, something as simple as a fresh haircut can make the difference between giving up and showing up. Walking into that next interview with confidence. Keeping your head up. Staying in the fight.

Honored to serve those who have served 🇺🇸

At the Veteran Stand Down here in Tucson, we had the privilege of supporting local veterans with no-cost haircare services in partnership with . Every haircut is more than just a service—it’s a moment of dignity, confidence, and connection.

Through Serve Society’s licensed mobile haircare unit, we’re able to meet people where they are and provide professional, donation-based haircare services to veterans and underserved communities across Tucson.

This interview is a reminder of why we do this work—and why it matters.

Fresh out and stepping into a new chapter.

Julio came through with a story, a pen, and a purpose. 🎤📝 After doing time, he’s channeling everything into poetry and music—real expression, real healing. Big shoutout to for the transformation… sometimes a clean cut is more than just a look, it’s confidence, it’s identity, it’s a reset.

You can feel the shift. And now Julio’s using his voice to tell his story the way it deserves to be told.

Q has been pulling up consistently for the past few months, putting in the work to change his situation.

Right now, he’s focused on one goal: landing a job so he can move out of the shelter and into something stable. This opportunity he talks about didn’t pan out—but that’s part of the journey.

What hasn’t changed is his spirit. Grateful. Positive. Still showing up.

Every time Q sits in the chair, it’s more than haircare. It’s about confidence. It’s about walking into that next interview feeling ready. Feeling seen. Feeling like you’ve got a shot.

At Serve Society, barbers and hairstylists from across Tucson, Arizona come together to volunteer their time and talent—providing no-cost haircuts and haircare services for neighbors experiencing hardship, recovery, or homelessness.

At Serve Society, we’ve learned that every haircut holds a story. Every guest walks in with a different circumstance — and every single one deserves dignity, respect, and quality haircare.

It’s never “just a haircut.”
It’s confidence.
