Thanks to our founding and forever mission partner, McDonald's, and their partnership with FIFA World Cup, Ronald McDonald House families experienced the FIFA World Cupā¢ in unforgettable ways.
The FIFA World Cupā¢ has a unique way of bringing people together across countries, cultures and communities, and every day, Ronald McDonald House does the same.
Families travel from across their cities, states and even countries to access the medical care their children need. Along the way, when staying with Ronald McDonald House, they find comfort, connection and a community that reminds them they aren't alone. This summer, 25 families from across the United States, Canada and Mexico came together to experience the excitement of the world's game.
From cheering alongside thousands of fans and stepping onto the pitch to meeting FIFA mascots and creating once-in-a-lifetime memories together, these moments were about so much more than the game.
For families who spend so much of their time focused on hospital stays, treatments and medical appointments, this was an opportunity to simply be together to celebrate, make memories and experience the joy of the world's game.
