In addition to this program AAUW Tucson works with local organizations to offer Start Smart salary negotiation for college students and others. 💪🙌
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the AAUW Level Up: Salary Negotiation Program!
This new initiative supports a cohort of 20 early- to mid-career women as they strengthen their negotiation skills, build confidence, and advance their careers.
Through training, coaching, and community support, Level Up will help participants overcome barriers to fair pay and economic mobility — moving us closer to narrowing the gender and racial wage gap.
Thank you to Coca-Cola Company for supporting this important work.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) empowers women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has more than 170,000 members and supporters across the United States, as well as 1,000 local branches and 800 college and university partners. Since AAUW’s founding in 1881, our members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political.
The Tucson Branch of AAUW has created scholarships and grants to support women in continuing their education. We support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), literacy in our community, and, address the dearth of female candidates for state and national legislation through the Running and Winning Project. Our commitment to lifelong learning is evident through our luncheon speakers, book groups and our association with the political discussion group, Great Decisions. We help women and men to negotiate equitable salaries by offering Start Smart seminars.
