Compania de Danza Folklorica Arizona is a recently founded non-profit organization based out of Tucson AZ. The purpose of this organization is to enrich and educate the minds of young dancers by providing them with knowledge of Mexican folklore and culture. Celebrate the community at the Barrio Block Party on the Congress Plaza on Sunday 9/6!

This family-friendly afternoon event starts at 5pm and continues through the night featuring dancers from Compañía de Danza Folklórica Arizona, the TucSon Casineros, Zona Pachanga, Salson and a very special mariachi performance from Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson!
Then stick around for some of Tucson's best Rock En Español/cumbia bands, Samuel Bencomo, Conjunto La Pira and Ruta Verbena!
Enjoy vendors, food, drink, lowriders and much more fun for the entire family!

CDFA will be performing before the game on the field, all of our classes will be performing from toddlers to adults. We hope to see you there!

Tucson is helping keep traditions like Folklórico alive and thriving. Meet Chantal Danay Ralls , founder of the non-profit dance company Compañía de Danza Folklórica Arizona and board member of Tucson International Mariachi Conference . She is paving the way for the next generation of Folklórico dancers through education and performance.

The Tucson International Mariachi Conference prides itself on including Folklórico and had over 380 attendees in their workshops this year.
