June is Aphasia Awareness month.

Aphasia is language disorder that affects approximately 2 million Americans, yet it remains a condition that is not widely understood.

Understanding and support are crucial for recovery, and that's why awareness is so important. Friends of Aphasia has been at the forefront of providing the support and resources needed for those living with this condition.

During Aphasia Awareness month, we are reaching out to you for your support. Your contributions make a tremendous difference in the lives of those affected by aphasia. By donating to Friends of Aphasia, you help fund group communication programs, educational workshops, and community outreach initiatives that empower individuals like me to communicate and connect with the world around them.
