Hello all of my friends and family,
As most of you know I have been placing exchange students with volunteer host families since 2011. We are at that time of the year when school openings start filling up.I need your help before all school spots are full.

My goal this year is to place at least 5 students, 8 if possible. Iam looking for families that can host for 5 months, 10 months or even a short time of 4 to 9 weeks. As of today I have 3 students placed.

To be a host family you will fill out your application.
Have a family interview in your home with me.
I will call your references.
You will be able to provide a room and bed, the student can
share a room if needed.
Provide 3 meals a day
A place to study.
Treat the student as family not as a guest.
Share your culture and learn the students culture.

Families come in all sizes. You can be a 2 parent or 1 parent family. A single person with no kids can host as well. You can have your own kids living at home or not even have any kids.

Students will have their own spending money and health
insurance.
Will go to a high school near you.
Students will be doing some community service.
Students will share a presentation about their country in November for International education week.

Who is ready to help. I need families here in Tucson and Vail. If you think hosting sounds like fun and live in another state I can still help you so let me know.
Some of the students are scholarship/grants studenta and here is a little information about one of the programz.

Jana is from ISRAEL 🇮🇱 and she is a GRANTS Student. She has a 4.0 GPA she likes Swimming🏊‍♀️, Reading 📚, Movies 🎞, Hockey and she wants to become a Doctor👩‍⚕️. She does not eat pork

Festina is from KOSOVO🇽🇰 4.0 GPA she likes Art🎨, Writing📝 Reading📚 and cooking👩‍🍳. She does not eat pork.

Eduardo is from BRAZIL🇧🇷 He has a 2.6 GPA He likes computers💻, Fishing 🎣 Movies📽 Video Gaming 🎮and he likes Animals🐈 🐕

Andrea is from ITALY🇮🇹 he has a 2.9 GPA and a high English score. He has also requested to be placed in Arizona and is only going to be here for 5 months. He likes Basketball🏀 cooking 👨‍🍳 soccer⚽️ and Music🎶

Gluila is from BRAZIL🇧🇷 she has a 3.2 GPA and she likes Church💒, Sports🏐⚽️⚾️, Reading 📖and Movies📽

Manola is from ITALY 🇮🇹 she has a 3.2 GPA and has a high English score. She is Vegetarian and has a Phobia of Birds🐦. So no families with birds please. She plays on the #2 Softball🥎 team in Europe so she hopes to join Softball🥎 as well as any other sport 🏀🎾⚽️ she can.

This young lady is a dancer. How fun it would be for her to be able to join a dance team or Cheer team at her American school. You can help that dream come true by becoming her host family. How do you become a host family? You can fill out our online application. You need to be able to provide 3 meals a day and a place to study, a room and bed and to love and support of being a part of your family. No family is too big or too small.

Ana is 15 and she is from DENMARK: this is a note from Ana: I am very loving and caring. I love being with my family and friends, where I found security. I am very inquisitive, and I love to travel with my family. I also love staying busy with my sport dancing, which I have practiced on a high level since I was little. While on program I hope to join a dance- or cheer leading team. I value time for myself, but I also love being social and having fun. Besides that, I love children, food, shopping, interior decoration, business studies, music etc. I am from a nuclear family where I get safety and support, and I hope to find that in a host family as well. I am looking forward to meet new people, and learn about American culture and traditions.
