VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are hosting the Blind Unit today from the Tucson VA. If you are available at 5:00PM, come down and help! The dinner lasts about an hour.

The Blind Unit Dinner is hosted on the second Wednesday of each month. We are looking for members, friends, and youth organizations to help with these events.

Volunteers are needed to assist with tasks such as:
- Walking the veterans in the building
- Helping serve drinks and food
- Conversing with the veterans
- Assisting getting them into the vehicles after the event
- Helping with dishes after the event

Our next event will be on November 12th. (Moved for Veterans Day)
Thank you!

Another quarterly Military Baby Basket has been donated to the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). This quarter’s basket was delivered to a deserving military family in our community as they welcome their newest little one.

With so many of our servicemen and women stationed thousands of miles away from their extended families, these baskets serve as a reminder that they are not alone. They show our military families that their community is here, supporting them, celebrating with them, and caring for them as they grow.

A special thank you to our Auxiliary members who went shopping and dropped off this wonderful gift. Your generosity and teamwork make these moments of support possible.
