Hope Matters Breast Cancer Foundation

Hope Matters Breast Cancer Foundation Our foundation uses funds raised to help spread the word of how early detection can saves lives, how to survive the experience of treatment, the challenges

As supporters in the fight against Breast Cancer, Kathy and Ruben Espinoza, wife and husband decided it was time to do their part. Deciding to concentrate their efforts and the organization in helping and educating, the women, and their families locally in Southern Arizona. The foundation is growing and uses funds raised to help spread the word of how early detection can saves lives, how to sur

vive the experience of treatment, the challenges families and loved ones face when dealing with effects of the disease, what to expect after treatment, and how to cope with the loss of a loved one. We also assist others that may not have the means to pay for a biopsy, mammogram or expenses after treatment and/or surgery. Our goal is to be a resource for the patient in treatment (or pre-treatment), the Survivor, and the family that lives with the daily reality of Breast Cancer. Our dedication and commitment to this cause began in 2003 and since then we have been able to raise over $120,000 for breast cancer research and prevention. .. we continue today because of a promise made to Laura. With the help of family and friends we have continued to keep our promise to her. Thank you. Dedicated to helping to find a cure.

Your Tucson Fire Fighters were happy to donate $2500 to Hope Matters Breast Cancer Foundation for mammograms and financial support to women in Southern Arizona.

All $2500 will go directly to benefit those here in our Southern Arizona community.

With the recent passing of Senate Bill 1451 (increasing the presumptive cancers for firefighters to include breast cancer & ovarian cancer), Local 479 is happy to be able to give back to this great organization!
