Need some prayers if you will.. Sweet old man Smokey is having some unexplained mobility issues. I created a separate stall for him today and he's on anti inflammatory meds but I just can't figure out what's up. He's very quiet mellow guy and bunks with Gallivant so getting injured is unlikely but I'm hoping that's all it is..I'm sure praying it is something simple. The vet will be here Thursday. A miracle healing in the meantime would be great🙏🙏

No more fence like this because i have done this so many times i can't count and swore i broke a wrist on more than one occasion.. goats don't do "reverse" so they stretch their neck to get their head in and then can't replicate the position to get out. Sometimes you can flip them on their back and they will tuck their chin in but usually just tuck those horns in as best as you can and push and there will be flailing and cracking of bones!

So you know the big pair of Ravins that hang out here? for awhile I saw the pair often, at the cows water every morning and in general around the sanctuary so that i thought they might be building a nest and then a couple weeks ago i started only seeing one so now I'm convinced there's a nest somewhere, and this morning i watched where he was flying and think i located it! It's not close enough to get a good photo even with zoom but the activity makes me pretty sure there's a nest up there❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ will be keeping an eye on things in hopes to see babies are some point 🙏
