I LOVE this old girl!!! She and her daughter arrived for a stray hold on the animal control truck years ago.. The owner was found and came to retrieve them but ended up spending several hours instead learning about goats and finally confessed she brought them for w**d control but had a small unsafe yard in town that they continued to escape.

She asked if they could stay.

Sadly we lost Dharma this past year but mama Charmin is thriving she happy (she especially enjoys the new barn area.. I often feed her in there) she was trying to get me to hurry up and drop this bale this morning.

I LOVE this old girl!!! She and her daughter arrived for a stray hold on the animal control truck years ago.. Monkey was the HERD BOSS.. even though she never lived in with the other goats she ruled the free rangers!

Years ago we got a call from a kind lady who had been to a silent auction and accidentally bid on a "piglet" not realizing it was a REAL pig until she won the next day.. she called and asked if i could possibly take this piglet destined to be raised for food and we happily accepted sweet (soon to be HUGE) Phyllis Tiller into a lifetime of love and safety here at Hoofsnhorns Farm Sanctuary!

We are so happy to have saved these two goofy guys from being euthanized two years ago! They still have things to get used to but are happy healthy guys!
