We have some really cool projects coming out of our first SCALE UP 2020 cohort!

🏘️ Harris Enterprises, livng2portraits partnered with Natural Building Works in Tucson to focus on a refugee and veterans affordable housing project. A goal of theirs? Cut housing costs by 50%!

😷 Imago Dei Middle School, Tucson is partnering with Tucson-area refugees on their emerging, sustainable T.H.R.E.A.D. (Together for Hope, Resiliency, Empowerment, and Development) Project. As of August, they have produced 12,268 cotton masks (to help fight COVID-19) and have paid refugee partners a total of $42,938.00 since March.

These two businesses have not only set out to make a positive impact on the people in their community, they’ve also made a commitment to becoming more sustainable with the future of people and the planet at the forefront of their mind.

💚Check out our stories to hear from these two local businesses and learn more about the work their doing through SCALE UP.
