Expression against repression community art exhibit is open to the public at the Our piece “Flower Pedal Power” was purchased by a very generous BICAS fan. Funds from this purchase go to help support the BICAS art programs creative use of broken bicycle parts. Thanks Historic Y and for the opportunity to express against repression! Open crafting hours are every SATURDAYS 1 PM to 4 PM, create and self-express through salvaged art—and be inspired with our wide selection of art materials and salvaged bike parts! Every week we’ll have a selected DIY art project—but you’re welcome to come up with your own! Crafternoons are supported by your generous monetary donations in support of the BICAS art program; you can also donate your art! No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Family-friendly Ages 6 and up. See you on Saturdays!

Join us for our DIY open crafting hours on SATURDAYS, 1 PM to 4 PM, for creativity and self-expression through salvaged art—and be inspired with our wide selection of art materials and salvaged bike parts! Every week we’ll have a selected DIY art project—but you’re welcome to come up with your own! Crafternoons are supported by your generous monetary donations in support of the BICAS art program; you can also donate your art! No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Hauntingly skeletal, beautifully macabre, Fish Bones — welded exquisitely by a BICAS Art committee artist — seamlessly captures a fish carcass in eerie drift, deep beyond the sun’s warm caress. This sculpture is open to public viewing in our gallery during open hours, and is available for purchase for $20. 🐟

From her expressive brushstrokes, to her evocative color palettes — we’re thrilled to celebrate her work, which channels community connection and experience into stunning pieces of art!

We at BICAS thank her for her artistic skill, her passion, and her responsive, accessible, and inclusive teaching style, which — attuned to diverse ways of engaging and learning — meets each participant where they are at. THANK YOU to all who came to the mart at dark! From the local Tucson artists, vendors, the BICAS staff and volunteers working the event — and most importantly — the community that showed up! Weather is looking great right now! And we are hoping for clear sky’s tonight! Roll through for the BICAS Art Mart at Dark TONIGHT! Sept 19th. From 6pm-8:30pm. We’ll have over 20 local Tucson artists and food from and lemonade from ! Also, a raffle for select art pieces!
