Our FAFSA Peer Coaches, alongside their peers, created custom college shirts to promote college awareness and build excitement around postsecondary opportunities. Each month, students host college spotlight tables during lunch, highlighting a different institution and sharing valuable information with their classmates.

At the same time, FAFSA Peer Coaches provide hands-on FAFSA support, helping students understand financial aid and navigate the application process with confidence.

Together, these efforts expand access, increase awareness, and empower peers to pursue their college and career goals.

Don’t miss the University of Arizona FAFSA Priority Deadlines:

• Current Students: March 1, 2026
• New Fall 2026 Students: April 1, 2026
• New Spring 2027 Students: November 1, 20

A huge thank you to Arizona Athletics for helping make this possible, and thank you to every counselor, educator, and partner who supported students throughout the process.

Democracy is something we build through participation, conversation, and accountability.

On December 5, we're hosting Tucson's inaugural Democracy Forum, bringing together young people, neighborhood advocates, educators, the greater community, and public officials to confront the forces shaping our region and to discuss what a people-centered democracy looks like.

Request a seat today! tucsondemocracyforum.eventbrite.com

✨ All participants who stay through the full event will be entered into a raffle — 4 attendees will each receive a $100 gift card. Seats are limited. Submitting the form is a request for a seat, not a confirmation. Confirmed attendees will receive a follow-up email closer to date.

This years Southern Arizona College & Career Night brought together over 2,000 students and families with 130+ colleges, universities, businesses, training programs, and organizations.

As a collaborative between the Southern Arizona Education Council and Tucson Unified School District, this is thr region’s largest college and career event, opening doors for students to explore life after high school—whether through college, skilled trades, the military, or career pathways.

Together, we’re ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive with purpose. 💙

Special thanks to my favorite folks in Flor De Liz Matus, Vantage West Credit Union, ScholarshipsA-Z and Pipeline Connects joining in. I was also immensely proud of the Arizona representation across our own schools in University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University. ✊🏽
