We were grateful to have all these helping hands this morning! Students from the Physician Assistant Program at the U of A helped us tackle the huge pile of donations we're going through. FUN FACT FRIDAY | We generally distribute about 400 pairs of shoes per month. Last month that number was 627! A lot of kiddos were able to get shoes for the new school year. Thanks to all who donate. Kilroy MC is not only a motorcycle club, they are a 501c3 who do so much to help the community. We know the school year just started but for high school juniors and seniors, it's already time to start learning about options for the future. Luckily, Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation is here to help with that. They are hosting a series of online workshops where students can explore post-secondary education, learn about different options and pathways like trade school, understand how to pay for school, and consider options for the future.

We had SO MUCH fun last Friday at our Animal Encounter event with Reid Park Zoo ambassadors. Kids (and adults!) learned about different habitats and what types of animals live in them- and got to meet some of those animals up close! Then they enjoyed a variety of creepy, crawly crafts where they learn about camouflage while creating and coloring works of art. Thank you Reid Park Zoo and Catalyst Creative Collective 💚🦎🐢🐍

We got a lovely visit yesterday from John and Mary of Angel Heart Pajama Project, a local nonprofit that provides new pajamas and books to child-focused resources around town. These items help children to feel safe, valued, and cared for at bedtime. They donated 30 new books, 30 new sets of jammies in all sizes, and 30 handmade snuggle pillows to provide bedtime comfort for the children we serve. We love their mission and are grateful for their support! 👼❤️✨

Hey MTaB families...there are still a few spots left for our Animal Encounter this Friday evening at Catalyst Creative Collective in the Tucson Mall. Join us for a night of creepy crawly fun! Get up close and personal with a variety of LIVE animals- snakes, lizards, turtles, and more! Learn about their habitats, diets, and adaptations from a Reid Park Zoo ambassador, then enjoy crafts and activities after the presentation. You don’t want to miss it!
