Beads of Courage Carry a Bead Give Hope. Honor Courage. Carry a Bead! Join us today and be a source of encouragement for children and teens coping with serious illness.

If you've carried a bead or received a bead that was carried, please post and let us know! Carry a Bead to encourage a child coping with serious illness. It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1. CARRY a set of beads with you on an adventure, to an event, or on an uplifting day.

2. CONNECT with a child coping with serious illness in our Beads of Courage program by writing them a note in a Story Card provided w

ithin the kit. Send one bead back with your note and we will randomly distribute it to a child on a tough treatment day.

3. COLLECT by keeping one bead to symbolize your shared strength. The more times you Carry A Bead, the more beads you will have for your own symbolic strand of support.

4. Text CAB to 520.366.3431 and you'll receive a link to easily upload your pictures and information. Anyone who joins Team Beads of Courage is asked to "Carry a Bead" to give hope and honor the courage of Beads of Courage members worldwide.

Beads of Courage extends our heartfelt thanks to the players, coaches and parents of the
Valley Roughriders Ball Club for participating in our Carry a Bead program.

The 13U baseball team, located in Phoenix AZ, carried beads during the USSSA State Championship Tournament weekend to honor brave kids coping with cancer and other serious illnesses.

As America celebrates 250 years, we’re reminded of the power of coming together to care for one another.

This Fourth of July, many children and teens coping with cancer and other serious illnesses will be in the hospital, receiving treatment, or recovering at home.

For these brave kids, Beads of Courage bring joy, hope, and something meaningful to hold onto. Every bead honors courage shown through treatments, procedures, and milestones, helping children record, tell, and own their stories of courage.
