🐾 TODAY, WE'RE JUST GRATEFUL. 🇺🇸

Sometimes we get so focused on where we're going that we forget to appreciate where we are — and the people who helped us get here.

On this National Day of Gratitude, K9 Legacy Foundation wants to say THANK YOU.

To every supporter, donor, sponsor, business, handler, partner, volunteer, and friend who believes in our mission — you are the reason we can continue doing what we do.

Every donation. Every share. Every event. Every conversation. Every bit of support matters.

We have big plans for the future, but today we're appreciating the here and now — and all of you who make this mission possible.

We're surrounded by some incredible people — and we're grateful for every single one of you. 🐾❤️

Honoring Their Service. Preserving Their Legacy.

Their final watch may end. Their legacy NEVER will.

They protected us. Stood beside us. Served without hesitation.

Now it’s our turn to stand for them.

HONOR THEIR SERVICE. PRESERVE THEIR LEGACY. 🇺🇸🐾

K9 ZARA

One hell of a working dog. Gone far too soon. 🖤🐾

We’re honored to create a memorial for K9 ZARA and help keep her memory alive.

ZARA’s legacy isn’t just about the work she did. It lives on in the people she protected, the handler who stood by her side, the bond they shared, and the memories she left behind.

This memorial helps make sure her name, her service, and her story are never forgotten.

That’s why these memorials matter. We’re not just honoring the way they served—we’re remembering who they were.

Rest easy, ZARA. Your watch may be over, but your legacy will never fade. 🖤🐾

🐾 HELP US HONOR MORE K9 HEROES 🐾

On September 11, 2001, our nation witnessed unimaginable tragedy—and extraordinary courage.

Among the heroes who answered the call were hundreds of search-and-rescue canines and their handlers. They climbed through twisted steel, searched through rubble, and worked tirelessly in conditions few could imagine. When hope grew faint, they kept searching. When responders were exhausted, their presence offered comfort. They asked for no recognition—only the opportunity to serve.

Today, The K9 Legacy Foundation remembers the lives lost, honors the first responders who ran toward danger, and pays special tribute to the four-legged heroes who stood beside them.

Their paws walked upon sacred ground. Their service became part of our nation’s story. Their legacy deserves to be remembered.

September 11, 2001 — Never Forgotten. 🇺🇸🐾

Today, on National Working K9 Day, we celebrate the dogs who show up every day ready to work—and somehow still think it’s the best game in the world.

To their handlers, they are so much more than a working dog. They are a trusted partner, a constant shadow, and part of the family. The bond built through long days, endless training, and time spent together is something truly special.

Here’s to the incredible K9s working beside us and the handlers proudly holding the other end of the leash. 🐾💙
