The 7 1/2 Gauge outdoor ride on train will not be operating for the remainder of our season ending in May 2026. While we are saddened the layout is not operating, we will be working during the off-season to prepare it for future operations.

We will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 5, to allow our volunteers to spend the holiday with their families.

We look forward to welcoming you back during our regular hours on Sunday, April 12, from 1-4 PM.

Hey train fans! Looks like another hot weekend is upon us. For the safety of our visitors and volunteers, we will not operate the 7.5 ride-on this Sunday, March 29th. Feel free to come inside the museum as the air conditioning works perfectly. We’ll see you there!

Hey train fans! Due to the expected high temperatures this Sunday, March 22nd, we will NOT be running our outdoor exhibits. These include the Outdoor G and 7.5-inch gauges. Our indoor exhibits will be open during our usual Sunday hours of 1-4 p.m.

Last Sunday was a busy day at the museum. We had 333 visitors, which we believe is a record number. We will be open Sunday January 4, and the weather should be great for a visit and a ride on our train. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.
