On Saturday, March 31st at 10:30 a.m., a parade is planned downtown to honor our brave warriors. We will highlight our veterans and servicemen and women of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. This is our unique opportunity to demonstrate our patriotism and love of country by extending our warm appreciation to those who defended us overseas. Show your support by joining with them on this special day. We
ask that everyone attending the parade bring their own American flags. We want to celebrate this occasion by incorporating Old Glory. The abundance of these flags will never look so good as when we are all waving them at our veterans. We also hope when you and your families come you will bring your very own message to the veterans. You can create your own posters, decorated signs, or a simple "We Love You" on a piece of cardboard. It is important that you have the opportunity to share your personal feelings with our heroes.
