👷‍♀️ Calling all Tucson parents!
Applications are now open for Camp NAWIC Tucson, a hands-on summer camp introducing young women to careers in construction and the skilled trades.

Campers will learn real building skills, meet industry professionals, and gain confidence while exploring career opportunities many students never get exposure to in school.

If you have a daughter or know a student who enjoys building, creating, or problem-solving, this could be an incredible opportunity for her future.

We had an amazing celebration at our April Membership meeting, as the NAWIC Tucson Chapter honored the top three students in this year’s local NEF Drafting & Design Competition. Congratulations to these talented young designers!

Thank you to the parents and family cheering them on, the judges who reviewed every drawing, our sponsors for their continued support of this event and our chapter, committee chair Becky Johnson for another year of leadership and mentorship, and the teachers who help shape these students’ futures. And thank you, Ryan Smith, PhD, professor and director at the University of Arizona’s School of Architecture for being a great guest speaker, giving students an idea of what their futures could hold at UA CAPLA!
