What an incredible afternoon celebrating the power of theater, storytelling, and community at the Sonoran Theater Showcase!

CYT Tucson was honored to share the stage with so many talented performers, artists, educators, technicians, and theater organizations from across Southern Arizona. The talent on display was absolutely inspiring and served as a wonderful reminder of just how vibrant Tucson's performing arts community truly is. 💛

A special thank you to Pima Community College Arts, the Pima Foundation, and everyone who helped organize this fantastic event supporting future scholarships for Pima theater students. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate alongside such an amazing group of theater companies.

Our students had an incredible time performing "Do You Hear the People Sing?" from Les Misérables School Edition — one of the exciting productions featured in CYT Tucson's biggest season yet! 🇫🇷🎶

Tonight is tech rehearsal for the Sonoran Theater Showcase, and we couldn't be more excited to join so many incredible theater organizations from across Tucson for this one-of-a-kind celebration of the performing arts community we all love.

This Sunday, audiences will have the opportunity to experience scenes, songs, and sneak peeks from ELEVEN local theater companies, all on one stage, all in one afternoon.

And CYT Tucson is bringing something special: Our performers will be presenting a selection from Les Misérables School Edition, giving audiences an exclusive preview of one of the most anticipated productions in our newly announced 2026-2027 season! 🎶

This unique event brings together some of Tucson's leading theater organizations for an afternoon celebrating the incredible performing arts community we are so fortunate to have right here in Southern Arizona.
