🚗✨ What an Incredible Day at Rotary! ✨🚗

Today, President Dot Kret proudly introduced Dave White and Alan Rogers as our guest speakers—and what followed was truly inspiring!

Dave White shared the amazing impact of our 2025 Tucson Classics Car Show, highlighting the dedication of every member who sold tickets, volunteered, and helped make this year’s Nifty-Nineteen such a success. Because of YOU, our event continues to strengthen our community, build camaraderie, and showcase Rotary’s generosity.

💛 Over the past 19 years, we’ve now given back more than $3 million—and counting!

🎉 This year’s total raised: $213,661! 🎉

We were honored to present checks to our incredible beneficiaries:
✔️ JobPath – $53,415.20
✔️ Amphi ECHO Foundation – $53,415.20
✔️ Pima Community College Foundation – Pima START – $106,830.39

Hearing how these funds are changing lives reminded us why this work matters so much.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, members, and supporters—you make this possible! 🙌

👏 Congratulations to:
➡️ Alan Rogers, 2026 Car Show Chair – “Plenty for Twenty” is coming!
➡️ Dan Kalm, 2027 Car Show Chair

Here’s to continuing our legacy of service, impact, and community. ❤️🚘

🎁 Happy holidays from our Rotary family to yours!

As we celebrate the season, the Rotary office will be closed on December 24-26 and January 1 to allow time for holiday cheer, rest, and celebration.

We look forward to ringing in the new year together at our next Rotary luncheon on Wednesday, January 7 when we hear from members El Ndoye and Hugh Thompson talk about our International Project and visit with the Forgotten Children in Senegal.

Until then, enjoy a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year!

Why are YOU a Rotarian???

12/22/2025

Today we had a powerful project overview meeting bringing together local community leaders in Senegal and Rotarians from Arizona. We shared introductions of key members, exchanged perspectives, and engaged in meaningful Q&A—building understanding, alignment, and partnership across continents. 🌍🤝

This global grant is designed to provide students with vocational training for TWO years! Each student will learn how to sew, will be provided with a sewing machine, will have an internship with a local designer, and will gain valuable life skills!! Students will be supported after their training ends to find meaningful work and to provide for their bright futures in Senegal, Africa.

♥️ Thank you, Rotary International! ♥️

These moments capture more than a safari—they hold the sounds, movement, laughter, and awe we shared across Africa.

Every frame tells a story of connection, learning, and experiencing this incredible continent together. This is what the journey felt like.
