As students head back to school, we thought we’d share this heartfelt story written by a 4th grader at Blenman Elementary.

Young people write stories about unicorns and superheroes of course, but they also write about the things that matter most to them... like their families, their schools, and their experiences. Showcasing those stories is just as important, and a huge part of the mission of Stories that Soar!

Here’s to continuing to amplify youth voice in the 26-27 school year!!

What an honor to perform at the The American Alliance for Theatre & Education (AATE) National Conference!

We brought stories from Tucson and South Carolina to life alongside Coastal Carolina University Department of Theatre students and educators. For a little extra magic, conference attendees fed the Magic Box stories written by young people in their lives. One of those stories was added to the performance to give a firsthand experience of the STS! process in action.

It was inspiring to connect with so many mission aligned educators and leaders from across the US. Thank you to everyone who came to the performance, and thank you AATE for inviting us!
