After more than 50 years of serving women in Southern Arizona, The Haven is beginning a new chapter. Effective today, October 1, The Haven will join Intermountain Centers who will support and assist The Haven in continuing to deliver on our mission.

While our organizational structure is changing, our commitment to helping women heal will remain the same. The Haven will keep on serving women with substance use disorders, including pregnant and parenting women and Native and Indigenous women. We are excited to announce that we will also resume our residential program.

Thank you for being a part of The Haven’s story and for believing in us!

Today we commemorated the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as the Orange Shirt Day. In addition, we honored Nati Cano and her 19 years of service to The Haven. Through her hard work and steadfast service, she has been a source of hope, encouragement, and light to so many. Thank you, Nati, for everything you do!

Our Native Ways team had a meeting with Judge Victoria Steele this morning. Judge Steele created the Native Ways Program 20 years ago and she shared some inspiring words of wisdom with the team. We are thankful that she welcomed us to her courtroom!

Join us celebrating Mexican Independence Day on September 16 at the Main Event! This all-ages event features folklórico dance performances, karaoke, lotería, Mexican Trivia Challenge, and giveaways.

Admission is free and Main Event will donate 20% of the games and food proceeds to The Haven.

The Haven stands firmly against hate, violence, and discrimination toward our LGBTQ+ community. Everyone deserves safety, dignity, and respect.

Tucson Queerstory, Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, and Southern Arizona Senior Pride are holding a vigil to honor the victims on Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30 pm at Catalina Park on Fourth Avenue.
