FYI… Upcoming Valencia Roadwork 4/30/26

Sharing with you some upcoming work that is part of the Valencia Road Improvement Project, from Kolb Road to Houghton Road. Crews will be working in the Old Vail Road and Nexus Road medians beginning on Thursday, April 30. This work taking place in the median will not allow left turns onto or from Valencia Road in these medians for the duration of this work, which should take about a week and a half to complete. This no left restriction is necessary for the safety of the traveling public and crews doing work in the area.

Crews with Borderlands have placed message boards in the area to notify the traveling public of these restrictions in advance.

⚠️ Mesquite Ranch Speed Bump Installation Update…

Courtesy of Ward IV, 4 Speed Bumps similar to those on Bilby Rd will be installed along the school traffic path sometime in June 2026. I’ll share any/all updates as we get closer to installation day, yay!
