Old Pueblo Archaeology Center Our purpose is to educate the public about the history and cultures of the Tucson Arizona area.

Old Pueblo Archaeology Center respectfully acknowledges that our nonprofit organization occupies and conducts our activities on land and territories of Indigenous peoples. Today, Arizona is home to 22 federally recognized tribes, with Tucson being home to the O’odham and the Yaqui. Committed to diversity and inclusion, Old Pueblo strives to build sustainable relationships with sovereign Native Nations and Indigenous communities through education offerings, partnerships, and community service.

Join the Tucson Presidio Trust and the Arizona Historical Society on Sunday March 8, 2026 from 10am-4pm (museum will be open 10am-3pm with free admission) for this free family friendly event.
See the Road to 250 Traveling Exhibit that includes a replica of the Liberty Bell and meet some of our community partners including: Sons of the American Revolution, Southwest Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers, Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area, Old Pueblo Archaeology Center , Friends of Fort Lowell Park, and more!
