Free Concert: Rissi Palmer at the Fox Tucson Theatre

You're invited to a free evening of music with acclaimed country and Americana artist Rissi Palmer — Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. at the Fox Tucson Theatre.

Rissi Palmer has spent her career telling American stories through country, roots, and soul, and championing the Black, Indigenous, and Latino artists who helped build these traditions. Her Color Me Country radio show and artist fund have made her one of today's leading voices for artists of color in country music.

The concert is presented by Tucson Meet Yourself, the Fox Theatre and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival as part of the Smithsonian's Of the People initiative marking America's 250th anniversary — a celebration of the traditions and voices that make up the American story.

Free and open to everyone. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors.

Hello Tucson and Southern Arizona! There are many Things here to get involved in this week. Tucson Juneteenth is partnering with some very special organizations this Friday, so get out and do something! There is an event for everyone. Get to know your community, get spiritual, and have some great conversations.
The Dunbar event in person is invitation-only; if you are interested in attending, with few spaces available, please email [email protected] by 08/6/26 at 5pm. Light refreshments will be served.
