Why do things happen the way they do? Why do we experience difficulties, and how can we create the causes for a happier, more meaningful life?
In this special half-day course, we will explore Buddha’s teachings on karma — the law of cause and effect — and how understanding karma gives us the power to change our life from the inside out. Rather than feeling stuck in old habits, painful patterns, or difficult circumstances, we can learn how to create the causes for peace, happiness, confidence, and lasting spiritual growth.
Through practical teachings and guided meditations, we will discover how our intentions and actions shape our future experiences, and how we can begin to transform our life by changing our mind. This course is suitable for everyone, whether you are new to Buddhism and meditation or have been practicing for many years.
Everyone is welcome.
Schedule:
Saturday, August 15th:
Session 1: 1 - 2:30 pm
Break: 2:30 - 3 pm
Session 2: 3 - 4:30 pm
Cost: $25
