So, let’s talk about Huey! 💚
Huey is a playful, goofy, affectionate guy who loves spending time with his people. During his time in foster, he did great with kiddos as young as five, was house trained, and loved walks and runs before settling in for some couch time.

He’s also a BIG fan of plush toys—which makes this weekend extra exciting!

🦎 An extraordinary patient. An extraordinary team. An extraordinary second chance. 💚

When Dinosaur, a green iguana, arrived at Animal Care Center through a neglect case, X-rays revealed a massive 2.8-ounce bladder stone—a serious and painful burden for an iguana to carry.

Treating exotic animals requires specialized expertise, equipment, and partnerships. PACC’s veterinary team worked alongside Dr. Walth of Exotic Animal Hospital, whose expertise was essential to performing the delicate surgery Dinosaur needed. Specialized supplies were also provided through the Pet Clinic, helping ensure the team had what they needed for the procedure.

Today, Dinosaur is recovering comfortably in a foster home and growing stronger every day. 💙

Stories like Dinosaur’s are a reminder of what a community can make possible. From lifesaving medical care and specialized equipment to foster support and unique medical needs, Friends of PACC helps provide resources that support PACC pets as they heal, recover, and get the second chance they deserve. 💚

Dinosaur’s story is one of many made possible through the collaboration of dedicated veterinary professionals, PACC, Friends of PACC, fosters, and a community that believes every animal deserves a chance. 🐾
