Registration is now open for our 8th Annual Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race and Fun Ride on Saturday, January 30, 2027. Take advantage of the early bird discount and register before September 1st.

Participate in the Amerind Fun Ride: a beautiful non-technical 6.2 mile course that covers much of Amerind's property. Riders will challenge themselves on the dirt roads around Amerind while taking in the sights. E-bikes, mountain bikes, and gravel bikes are all welcome for the Fun Ride. This non-competitive ride will not have awards. Open to ages 8-99.
Little Tykes Fun Loop: Kids 8 and under can have a blast rolling around a short course of approximately 0.25 miles under mom and dad’s watchful supervision. This is non-competitive and entirely to let the kids get in on the day’s fun. Medals will be given to all little riders! FREE to participate!
For mountain bikers looking to compete!
The Fulton Full Course: Where racers will do four laps (42 miles) of jeep trails and single track through the incredible boulders of Texas Canyon. Start time: 10:00 am.
The Lockett Rocket Short Course: Racers will do two laps (21 miles) of jeep trails and single track. Races open to ages 12+. Start time: 10:10.
After the race and the awards ceremony, grab a well-deserved bite from one of the food vendors, then show your bib to explore the Amerind Museum and Art Galleries. Admission to the museum is included for all participating cyclists.
Participation in the event enables Amerind to further its mission of fostering and promoting knowledge and understanding of the Native Peoples of the Americas through research, education, conservation, and community engagement.
