We are only a couple days away from another great weekend of racing! All Fleet Services Big Wheels will once again start racing at 8:00 AM this Saturday. Gates open at 7:00 AM. Please meet at the base of the tower between 7:30 AM and 7:40 AM so we can be on track at 8:00 AM

We are looking forward to another great race weekend. Don't forget All Fleet Services is sponsoring the races this season. Thanks to their support, there will be a big check for both winner and runner up along with $20 cash to win and $10 to runner up.

We ran races 1 and 2 on January 31st. Thanks to Kevin at All Fleet Services for being the title sponsor for the big wheels class this year. With their support our winner and runner ups will receive a big check at each race as well as $20 for the win and $10 for the runner up.

Happy New Year Big Wheel Families! We hope you all had a great holiday season. We are looking forward to kicking off another great year of racing in a couple of weeks. Like last year, we are doing a 10 race series with two events during each Saturday team race. We will count the best 8 out of 10 races for each racer. Races will be in a bracket race format with TruStart in effect. We are looking forward to seeing you all at the end of the month!

Race 1 & 2 - Saturday January 31st - Gates open 7am Big Wheels Track hot 8:30 am
Race 3 & 4 - Saturday February 28th - Gates open 7am Big Wheels Track hot 8:30 am
Race 5 & 6 - Saturday April 11th - Gates open 7am Big Wheels Track hot 8:30 am
Race 7 & 8 - Saturday May 2nd - Gates open 7am Big Wheels Track hot 8:30 am
Race 9 & 10 - Saturday May 30th - Gates open 4pm Big Wheels Track hot 5:30pm

Some reminders on the required equipment

• The big wheel must have one big wheel in front (can be rubber), a seat and 2 smaller rear wheels in the back.
• The big wheel should have a number posted visible to the starting line crew.
• Bicycle type helmet.
• Gloves.
• Bicycle knee pads.
• Bicycle elbow pads.
• Long sleeve shirts.
• Long pants.
• Closed-toed tennis shoes.
• The child must be able to pedal the big wheel without assistance, and the feet should not be secured to the big wheel.

We had a great day of racing last Saturday for races 5 and 6. Congratulations to all of our winners and runner-ups.

Here is this weekend’s race information. Please start meeting at the base of the tower at 8:20 so we can start with Big Wheels promptly at 8:30. We are looking forward to another fun race weekend!

after closely watching the weather forecast for Friday and the remainder of the weekend, The team at Tucson Dragway has decided to go ahead with the full weekend race schedule as planned. Starting with Friday Night Drags 1/4-mile open test & tune with our regular 1/4-mile Gambler on Friday March 7th and Team races 3&4 Saturday and Sunday. March 8th and 9th

Gates open Friday 4 pm track hot 6-10pm Gambler at 8 pm
Saturday and Sunday Gates open 7am track hot 9am both days.
Friday T&T tech card $50. Crew $25. Spectator $20. 12 and under free.

We had a great day of racing with great weather to kick off our Big Wheel racing in 2025! Congratulations to all of our winners and runner-ups.
Race #1 number one qualifier was Dalton Akers with a .174 light. Race #1 winner was Mackenzie Hawk over 2024 champion, Maverick Hawk.
Race #2 number one qualifier Olivia Hawk with a .120 reaction. Olivia swept race #2 taking the win over race #1 winner Mackenzie Hawk.
