🏋️ WORKOUT WEDNESDAY

Are you counting members… or measuring what each member is actually worth to your business?

A gym can have a packed membership roster and still struggle financially.

That's because more members doesn't automatically mean more profit.

This Wednesday, give your business a financial workout by looking at your revenue per member.

Here's a simple calculation:

Total Membership Revenue ÷ Average Number of Members = Revenue Per Member

Then take it a step further.

Ask yourself:

💪 What does it cost me to serve each member?

📈 Which membership plans are the most profitable?

⏰ Are personal training, classes, or other services increasing revenue per member?

📉 How many members cancel each month?

🎯 What would happen to my bottom line if I increased average revenue per member by just $10?

Sometimes the path to a healthier business isn't getting more customers.

It's getting more value from the customers you already have.

Spend 20 minutes reviewing your membership revenue and expenses.

How many subscriptions is your business paying for that you forgot about?

It starts innocently enough...

"$15 a month? That's nothing."

Then another software subscription.

And another.

And another.

Before you know it, your business is spending hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars every year on recurring expenses that may no longer be providing much value.

Here's your Money Monday challenge:

Take 15 minutes today and look through your last 3 months of business expenses.

For every recurring charge, ask:

1. Do I still use it?

2. Does it save me time or make me money?

3. Would I sign up for it again today?

If the answer is "no" to all three...

It might be time to hit Cancel Subscription. 😉

And don't forget: good bookkeeping makes these expenses much easier to spot in the first place.
