On Sunday, the Arizona Women’s Chorus will premiere a brand-new work for women’s voices at Carnegie Hall in New York City — and it was created entirely by Tucson artists.

This powerful new work celebrates the stages of a woman’s life and represents a major milestone: our first-ever Carnegie Hall premiere.

We’ve raised $8,000 toward the $10,000 commissioning cost and need our community’s help to cross the finish line.

When we step onto that stage this Sunday, we’ll proudly carry Tucson’s artistry with us. 💜

From Tucson to Carnegie Hall. 💫

The Arizona Women’s Chorus is preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime moment: premiering The Tides of Life at Carnegie Hall this summer.

This new 20-minute work for women’s voices was imagined, written, and composed entirely by Tucson artists:

🎼 Performed by the Arizona Women’s Chorus under the direction of Terrie Ashbaugh

This project celebrates the strength, beauty, and journey of women’s lives — and showcases the incredible artistry that exists right here in Tucson.
