🎉 We Care Tucson’s cup was filled! 🎉

Yesterday was a BIG day as we officially celebrated the Grand Opening & Dual Ribbon Cutting of the Desert Byte Cyber Café! 💻🎀✂️☕️

From our morning celebration to our evening one, ribbons were cut and FUN was had by all. It was incredible seeing so many people come together to support a space built for connection, learning, creativity and community.

Desert Byte Cyber Café is more than computers and Wi-Fi. It’s a welcoming place where adults can work and learn, youth can explore and grow, and people of all ages can connect and belong.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, supported us, celebrated with us and helped make this vision a reality.

🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL — THE DESERT BYTE CYBER CAFÉ OPENS TODAY! 🎉

The day has finally arrived! After months of planning, creating, and preparing, the doors to the Desert Byte Cyber Café at We Care Tucson are officially opening TODAY!

Desert Byte is a new kind of community technology space—a place to connect, work, learn, create, game, and explore technology. With computers and free Wi-Fi, dedicated adult and youth hours, comfortable spaces to work and collaborate, and new programs and activities, there’s something here for everyone.

And today, we CELEBRATE!

Such an amazing board meeting for We Care Tucson. We walk~skip~JUMPED through so many great things including:
-Vision/Mission/Strategy planning.
-Next week’s grand opening & ribbon cutting of the Desert Byte Cafe.
-Personal success stories from our teen & youth STEM Camps.
-TheＩＭＰΛＣＴ░ Breakfast & Oro Valley Pickle-icious Jingle Jam FUNdriasers.
-Digital donations & merchandising of our computers, gaming systems, TVs, tablets, computer repair service and more.

We were definitely getting it done so that everyone in the community benefits, learns and has FUN. So gratifying.
