This Thursday, the Vault opens.

After years of building a collection that brings together extraordinary miniature art from around the world, Verko’s Vault Museum of Fantasy Miniatures opens its doors in Las Vegas on October 8!

Explore thousands of fantasy miniatures across a wide range of scales and styles, featuring work by many of the world’s leading painters and sculptors: from incredible individual figures and busts to dragons, dioramas, Golden Demon-winning Warhammer pieces, and much more.

Opening alongside our permanent collection is our special exhibition, Ray Harryhausen: Miniature Models of the Silver Screen, presented in collaboration with The Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation. See original handcrafted stop-motion models from Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and other films from Ray Harryhausen’s legendary career.

The doors open this Thursday, October 8! Verko’s Vault will be open Thursday through Monday from 11 AM–7 PM, and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We can’t wait to finally welcome you inside the Vault!

The Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation (Charity no SC001419) now care for the vast collection of models, artworks and equipment created and collected by Ray throughout his career.

Connor Heaney is the Foundation’s Collections Manager, and deals with the day-to-day care of Ray’s archive. His responsibilities include the cataloguing, digitisation and conservation of the collection, as well as promoting the awareness of Ray’s work and legacy through worldwide exhibitions and events...'

It's official... our NEW exhibition, Ray Harryhausen: Myths in Motion, is now OPEN! 🎥

The story of a legendary animator who changed the course of film history, this special exhibition has been created for The Arc and drawn from the incredible archive of The Ray & Diana Harryhausen Foundation.

Harryhausen’s innovation in stop motion had a lasting effect on viewers and filmmakers alike. His creatures – the skeletons from Jason and the Argonauts (1963), Minaton from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) and Medusa from Clash of the Titans (1981) - were animated in a way that had never been seen before. Tributes from filmmakers such as Peter Jackson and Aardman Animations, who cite Harryhausen’s importance, also feature in the exhibition.

Together with daughter, Vanessa Harryhausen, whose personal contributions will be found throughout the exhibition, we’ve selected over 70 objects to bring to this exhibition. They include paintings by artists who were early influencers on Harryhausen’s art and storytelling. Through sketches and original models, the exhibition highlights the inventiveness, incredible artistry and resulting awe of Harryhausen’s career.

📆 This fantastic show is open until 16 February 2027 in The Gallery at The Arc.

Sir Peter Jackson visits Verko's Vault, the new Museum of Fantasy Miniatures in Las Vegas 🎬

The director of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and King Kong, Peter Jackson, stopped by for an early look at the Vault. He toured our special exhibition, Ray Harryhausen: Miniature Models of the Silver Screen, presented in collaboration with The Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation, and explored our fantasy, historical and movie miniatures galleries. We wrapped up with a group photo at the Balrog!
