The Honors Mentors Association at the University of Arizona was founded to help students reach their full potential as incoming students to the U of A Honors College. Each of our freshmen receive free peer one-on-one mentoring in a casual environment. Our program is unique in that one of our core values is to build a strong community within our mentors and our freshmen, and we pride ourselves on t

he lasting freshmen our mentors make with our freshmen. We have frequent fun events, like pizza parties, trips to AZ Air Time, we even put on a carnival! Each and every one of our members is encouraged to be a leader within our community-- via becoming a mentor, joining our executive board, and taking initiative. Sarah started as a mentee as a freshmen at U of A, and has been mentoring through HMA ever since! She is a senior majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, and is our awesome Secretary!
