We are so excited to announce our Survivor Art Meet-Up!
This free event, sponsored by SAAS, will include art activities, light snacks, and peer-to-peer support.

It’s open to all survivors of any form of sexual exploitation — this day is for you to feel seen, supported, and valued.

Our board member therapist, Stacy Rakowitz — who originally came up with this idea — will be in attendance to offer support and resources.

We also want to thank our events coordinator for volunteering her time to make sure the event was done with excellence. We had a great time empowering children and families .

SAAS in collaboration with and is hosting ,
Story Time With Princesses , Elsa, Snow White, and Jasmine will make an appearance and available for pictures. The story will be age-appropriate for kids and will teach them the importance of boundaries and body safety from an early age. SAAS will also provide families with educational materials to continue the conversation. We are so excited for children and families to feel empowered!. Please share this with any families you know .

We have an announcement! We have partnered with Le Macaron located in Downtown Tucson and they will be collecting formal gowns, prom dresses, and wedding dresses. They are a business passionate about bringing Human Trafficking Awareness to our community and helping SAAS move forward in its mission. Stay tuned to hear other ways we are collaborating to make a difference.

Yesterday , we had the opportunity to partner with Angela and the Soup Patrol program, which provides warm meals to people in need. SAAS contributed flowers and Valentine’s chocolates, along with safe housing resources. Our hope was to demonstrate love in a tangible way and offer support to vulnerable women facing exploitation. We are grateful for the opportunity to have spoken to a couple of women.
