This Wednesday-Saturday CRUSH will be competing at the Houston World Championship in Houston, Texas. CRUSH will be competing in the Newton Division with incredible teams from all over the world. Check out the Newton Division on The Blue Alliance:

On March 22nd-24th, Sonoran Science Academy's CRUSH 1011 competed at the 2018 Colorado Regional in Denver, Colorado. After 2 days of qualification matches, CRUSH ranked 8th out of 52 teams from 7 states & Turkey. For the elimination tournament, CRUSH was selected 3rd overall to join 2996 on the 3rd seeded alliance, along with team 4593. After 2 tough matches, our alliance was eliminated.

During the Award Ceremony, CRUSH was selected as the 2018 Colorado Regional Chairman's Award winners for our community service, advocacy, and education initiatives. We are honored to receive the Chairman's Award for the 3rd time in 4 years, an accomplishment that would not be possible without our school, sponsors, and supporters. We are excited to compete at the Houston World Championship in April!

Match 59 was nearly perfect with a score of 461-100! Thank you to our alliance partners, Team 1339: Angelbotics, and FRC 3005 - Robochargers!

Match 49 was a switch-only-showdown, and though we took some damage after a robot entered our frame, we were able to pull out a win, 302-228! We will be up again soon in match #59!

Match 18 is our first loss of the day, 390-220, but we are ready to come back for more matches after some time on the practice field & a quick lunch break!
